Violin T1
The second in a series of violins using the Stradivari P mold, T1 violin is modeled after the ”Titian” violin made by Stradivari in 1715. Like many instruments based on the Titian, this instrument has a bright powerful tone.
The back is very highly flamed American red maple and the top is European spruce. It is finished in a glowing red-brown oil/rosin varnish.
The instrument was made in Salt Lake City, UT and Flagstaff, AZ, completed in 2019.

Viola CV1
This 16 3/8 inch viola is modeled after the “Conte Vitale” viola made in 1676 by Andrea Guarneri. This popular viola model results in a warm, full bodied sound.
Instead of the large pegbox cheeks of the 17 Century model, this voila has the smooth pegbox preferred by many modern violists.
The back is well flamed American red maple and the top is European spruce with a very tight grain. It is finished in a deep red-brown spirit varnish.
The instrument was made in Salt Lake City, UT and Flagstaff, AZ, completed in 2019.

Cello GB1
This cello is modeled after the “Gore-Booth” cello made by Stradivari in 1710. It has a warm powerful tone.
The back is flamed European maple and the top is European spruce. It is finished in a complex red-brown oil/rosin varnish that is already showing signs of desirable crackle development and play-in wear patterns.
The instrument was made in Salt Lake City, UT and Flagstaff, AZ, completed in 2019.

Violins V1 and V2
This pair of violins is modeled after the ”Viotti” violin made by Stradivari in 1709. The instruments both have a strong, warm tone.
The backs are flamed American red maple and the tops are European spruce. They are finished in a red-brown oil/rosin varnish. V1 is redder than V2
The violins were made in Salt Lake City, UT and Flagstaff, AZ, completed in 2018.
V2 can be seen at Robertson and Sons violins in Albuquerque, NM
